Window to the world-Florida Day 1 Agnes' comment to my first post brought to mind something that I hadn't heard since I left college. ”It's so expressive, and has the look of a life drawing, even though it's done from a photo." I have always relied heavily on my reference photos. And since this blog is intended to help me revive my basic skills as an artist I began to think I shouldn't just pick up where I left off. So during my family reunion trip to Florida I decided to try drawing from life. These may be ordinary but they represent a desire to grow. Agnes, thanks for the fine comment.
Thinking of one of Chuck's last entries I watched the clouds out of the window and attempted to capture what I saw. This was harder than I anticipated especially with pencil. The fact that I was moving and they were moving made it more of an ad lib.
